Basically you can now control your PS3 via laptop, iPhone, pretty much most hand held devices/PDA’s. Currently for this you need a MAC (intel based) computer, and a hacked PSP to export remote play settings. More information, how-to and everything you need can be grabbed via download below: Download OpenRemotePlayMAC Beta. To use PlayStation ® Remote Play from your Windows-based computer or Mac, you must. Have a PlayStation ® 4, with System Software 6.50 or newer. A Windows-based computer with 8.1 or Windows 10 or OS X Yosemite or OS X El Capitan or newer. Enable your PS4™ and your computer to communicate. I have paired my PS4 controller to my Mac using these instructions. It works wireless in for example KOTOR2 and recognizes it as PlayStation controller (given the fact that it uses PlayStation button icons in menus). But the PS4 Remote Play app will not work unless I plug in the controller through a USB cable. Set up your PC or Mac for Remote Play; Click on the link below to download the installation file for PS4 Remote Play and save the file to your desktop or other location (this link works for both Mac and PC): Run the installation file. An installation dialog box appears.
To use this feature on a PS Vita system or PSP™ system, you may be required to update the system software of the PS3™ system and the PS Vita system or PSP™ system.
Using a device that supports remote play, such as a PS Vita system or PSP™ system, and a wireless access point, you can connect to your PS3™ system via the Internet. To use remote play, the PS3™ system must be set in remote play connection standby mode.
